My name is Maureen Shealer and I teach the High-Five English class at Green. I have taught at Green since the fall of 2012 and have loved every minute of my time here! I have a B.A. in Elementary and Preprimary Education from Bethel University (2003)  and a Masters in Comparative & International Education Development from the University of Minnesota (2014).  I have taught in Ecuador, Minneapolis and Washington, DC.

Our classroom has two wonderful support staff- Carlye Proescholdt is our classroom AE and Anthony Ceballos is our classroom Reading Corps member. We all love working together and with our fabulous High-Fivers and their families!

In my freetime I love spending time with my family, spending time outside, visiting Lake Superior, visiting our amazing lakes in the city, and sharing meals with friends and family in our backyard. I have one little boy as well as lots of amazing neices and nephews that make me very happy to live near family! I love our city and the people that live here and am excited to be able to be a part of students' lives when they are in my classroom.
