Our Vision at Green Central is
Creating tomorrow’s community leaders by engaging the hearts and minds of our diverse learners.
Green Central engages students academically with critical thinking, problem solving, high quality writing and multilingual dialogue skills. Students engage their moral compass to guide them through their graduation.
Green Central weaves themes, methods and resources that support this mission throughout its rigorous curriculum. We continue to build effective partnerships within the district and community that align with a culture of equity and academic and linguistic diversity.
Students who walk to school or are dropped off by parents/guardians should arrive at 7:45 when doors open. Many students who arrive after 7:45 are not able to finish breakfast before the school day starts, so please do whatever you can to help your student arrive by 7:45
Prior to this time teachers are involved in meetings, conferences, and preparing for the day’s work. Students arriving to school after 8:05 should report to the office to get a late to school pass to be admitted to class.
Parents are welcome to visit school and the classrooms. All visitors are required to check in at the office first. As a courtesy, please arrange a time with the teachers prior to a classroom visit. Non-enrolled children are not permitted to visit school unless accompanied by an adult.
Every classroom is equipped with interactive Promethean board or Smartboard, document camera, projector, and sound system.
